5 Minute 5 Senses Meditation

Meditation takes many forms. Flowing in our yoga, seated and finding our stillness and silence or focusing the mind on specific anchors. Meditation practice can literally happen in just moments throughout the day - and whilst this meditation I’m sharing with you is around 5 minutes, you can literally tune into your senses in about 30 seconds at any point to bring some harmony and focus to your mind, breath and body.

When you start to feel the signs of overwhelm, anxiety, stress, anger, fear - or any other emotion rising that you want to ride over the wave of - then simply bring yourself to the moment by settling yourself into your senses. Simply pause to focus on the questions: what can I see?, what can I hear?, what can I smell?, what can I taste?, what can I feel? It’s a highly effective way to centre and ground yourself. Try it… it’s really a super simple tool that’s free for you to tap into whenever you need to.

Whether 5 minutes of 30 seconds, this meditation is an instant mood-changer.
